About Me
Carol is an experienced, highly qualified and discreet governance, risk, compliance (GRC) and assurance professional. In her 30 year career, she has worked as an executive within organisations, monitored organisations as a Board and Audit & Risk Committee member, been a Chief Risk officer in a major business enterprise creating transformational change, provided External & Internal Assurance in both Public and Private sectors and independently consulted across a variety of organisations & industries to improve their GRC approaches.
Since the mid 1990's, Carol has contributed to the Public Sector, Accounting & Business professions her thought leadership, training and mentoring to executives through industry and professional association forums. This has been mainly in Australia and to some extent in South East Asia.
Carol professionally speaks to leaders and managers about two of her greatest passions:
Improved approaches for integration of governance, risk and change management to improve efficiency and results; &
Through her stories about her career & life path learning, recent research and ideas on inspirational and motivational management to improve management and personal work / life balance.
